Native Seed
With over 30 years’ experience working with Australian Native Seeds, GHEMS Revegetation Environmental has provided seed to everyone from home gardeners to land care groups, nurseries, shires, developers, landscapers and mining companies.
Our expert seed collectors correctly identify each species and pick the seed at the optimum time to ensure quality and longevity. We have seed from all over the state but specialize in seeds endemic to the Swan Coastal Plain and Darling Scarp.
We keep accurate records of where each seed is collected and we can provide you with provenance seed when required.
Our seed is dried, processed, cleaned and packaged to ensure you are being supplied a pure product and stored in a climate-controlled storage facility where seed is maintained in a healthy state, ready for use. At present, we have 2.5 tonnes of seed awaiting your project.
As many native seeds require pre-germination treatments, GHEMS offer these services as requested, along with viability testing.
If you need assistance in choosing suitable species for your project, our expert consultants can recommend suitable species, taking into account the provenance, biodiversity requirements and your budget.
GHEMS is an accredited member of the Revegetation Industry Association of WA.
