GHEMS' Role
GHEMS visited the Nimba site in October 2009 to assess the area and discuss rehabilitation requirements and techniques with site personnel. Our Environmental Scientists developed a comprehensive EMS maximising local labour and employment and included a Soft Surface Stabilisation and Revegetation Execution Plan together with a related assessment and monitoring procedure.
GHEMS provides ongoing project support including multiple site visits to check the progress of recommended works, up skill local staff through provision of training, and report, review, and where required modify surface protection methodologies to suit local conditions.
