Mitchell Freeway Extension

Client: Macmahon Contractors
Project Period: 2008 - ongoing

Project Management Incorporated

• Provenance seed collection
• Tube-stock supply and planting
• Mechanical mulching, trimming and tracking
• Direct seeding
• Environmental weed management

Outcomes

Practical completion achieved. A highly successful result with growth of native vegetation well on the way to achieving projected ground cover, density and species diversity much earlier than has been experienced in similar projects.

Relevant Components

Logistics of the seeding and planting schedule was huge but achievable. Our teams coordinated the collection, ordering, quality control, delivery and batching of local native seeds and tube-stock and our planting teams worked intensely to complete planting on schedule.
