Project management incorporated landscaping and revegetation of decommissioned mine infrastructure and conducting Annual Environmental Reports for site operations.

GHEMS' Role

Our tasks over the years have included the design, implementation, management and supervision of rehabilitation earthworks including respreading topsoil, waste dump and bund rehabilitation, native seed recovery and supply and decommissioning and rehabilitation of tailings dams.

Planning services include preparation of:

• Pastoral Lease Management Plans and
• Revegetation Management Plans

Reporting services include preparation of:

• Annual Environmental Reports
• Rangeland Monitoring Reports
• Water Monitoring Reports

Contractual services include:

• Native seed recovery and supply
• Baseline biological survey
• Flora Direct seeding
• Landform design
• Topsoil respreading
• Waste dump and bund rehabilitation
• Earthworks for rehabilitation of tailings dams

Outcomes

Our companies experience in arid zone rehabilitation has seen very successful rehabilitation programs implemented across the mines tenements.

The success of rehabilitation and thoroughness of our reporting has meant regulatory standards for completion have been met, permitting bonds to be recovered by the client.
